Choose one or more sessions during registration.
LEGO Robotics: Mission Challenge
August 3, 10, 17 & 24
Build, code and compete! Students use LEGO® SPIKE Prime robots to explore motors, sensors and programming while completing fun engineering challenges and robot missions. No previous robotics or coding experience required.
Scratch Game Design
September 14, 21, 28 & October 5
Create your own video game! Students learn coding concepts including events, loops, variables, movement and scoring while designing an interactive game in Scratch. Great for beginners and students ready to build their coding skills.
Light It Up! Electronics
October 19, 26 & November 2, 9
Discover how electricity works through hands-on experiments with LEDs, breadboards, batteries, switches and circuits. Students learn the basics of electronics and use their new skills to create a light-up maker project.
Maker Engineering Challenge
November 16, 30 & December 7, 14
Design it. Build it. Test it. Improve it! Students tackle hands-on engineering and maker challenges using the design process to develop their own solutions. Projects may incorporate digital design, 3D printing, laser-cut components, electronics and other maker tools.
