STEAM Open Studio is a flexible, hands-on makerspace designed for curious creators ages 8 and up. Unlike our semester classes, each 90-minute session is a standalone experience, so students can attend whenever it fits their schedule without worrying about falling behind.
Every visit offers something new! Students may choose from a variety of guided and self-paced activities that blend creativity with technology, including:
🎨 Painting laser-cut wood projects
🪵 Creating personalized laser-engraved items
🖨️ 3D design and printing
🤖 Robotics and engineering challenges
💻 Coding mini-projects with Scratch or Python
🧩 STEM and maker challenges
🎨 Digital design and creative technology projects
✨ Personalized gifts and take-home creations
Whether your child loves art, engineering, technology, or simply making things, STEAM Open Studio encourages creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning in a fun, relaxed environment.
Best of all, students leave each session with a finished project, a new skill, or both!
Tuesdays: 10:00–11:30 AM
Wednesdays: 1:00–2:30 PM
